How I Work
My reasons for becoming a financial professional are deeply personal. I repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. I am confident that with my understanding of personal finance, coupled with my training as a financial professional, I can help people better prepare for the future. After years in the business, I have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. For over 28 years, Tom has been providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions ranging from working families to high-net-worth business owners. His accounting degree and CPA designation gives him a unique approach to solving complex tax issues for clients some of whom include medical professionals, entrepreneurs/business owners, senior executives, and retirees.
Tom graduated from the American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in accounting.
Tom holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from the State of New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NJ Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an Investment Advisor Representative who holds a Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations. Tom is also licensed as an agent for life, health and annuities.
He resides in Middlesex County with his wife Barbara, and enjoys hiking, fishing, and weight training.

Helen is an Accountant and Financial Services Assistant at Thomas Vastardis and Associates. She has over 13 years of experience in the accounting, tax, and financial services industry, with a strong background in client care and customer service. Helen is Certified Tax Preparer and is listed in the IRS Federal Tax Return Preparers Directory. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as of hobbies such as pickle ball, tennis, and travel.
